The DeepTech_Ready Upskilling Programme is a national digital skills development initiative under the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy. Designed in partnership with Google.org and implemented by Data Science Nigeria, DeepTech_Ready equips young Nigerians with practical, job-ready skills in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accelerate Nigeria’s transition into a technology-driven economy.

Delivered through a highly localized, project-based curriculum, DeepTech_Ready blends core technical training with real-world applications, hands-on practice, and guided mentorship. The programme spans five AI specialization tracks, nine comprehensive courses, and 54 practical topics — all taught via step-by-step walkthroughs by nine seasoned Nigerian AI professionals with a combined 92 years of experience.
The platform is hosted across 50 AI learning centres nationwide, providing equitable access to learning resources in every geopolitical zone. These hybrid centres offer both virtual and in-person training environments, ensuring no learner is left behind due to infrastructural limitations.
